What We Do:
I own a Children's Yoga program that teaches yoga to children in their schools, childcare centers, after school programs, clubs, organizations, health and fitness studios and more...we teach yoga to children of all ages in a fun age appropriate way.


How It Began:
I had an epiphany in the middle of the night in Sept of 2003, woke my husband to tell him, researched children's yoga on the Internet and I have been building my business ever since. I initially did all the behind the scenes work to start a business, registering, licenses, etc. as well as getting certified to teach yoga, as I was already a student of yoga for four years. I then began to market and promote it in January 04 and by April of 04 I had to hire another teacher. Since then we have grown into nine different Counties covering the Hudson Valley, NY; Bergen County, NJ and Pike County, PA.

Most Unique Thing About the Business:
I believe what makes my business unique is the right thing at the right time. Many people today are realizing that holistic activities and lifestyles benefit themselves and their families. Starting a child early on this can only encourage a healthier lifestyle. In addition children today are very over-scheduled, stressed out and sleep deprived. Yoga offers them an avenue to learn how to discipline themselves, control their emotions, relax in tense and difficult situations and more
