The Millenium of the Woman

I believe this is the millenium of the woman. It is time we took our rightful place in this world. We must stand up for the beautiful, insightful, intuitive, and wise people God meant us to be. We must guide and lead our young girls into fruitful womanhood; provide them with meaningful rights of passage into adulthood. No more co-dependence. No more low self esteem. No more settling for whatever someone else decides we are worth. No more grovelling or condescending demeanor. No more chameleon-like behaviors. We must be exactly who we are. No more masks. No more hiding.

I agree, we as women must teach our girls, 10-16, to be independent, strong and financially responisble. That we do not have to showcase our bodies to be respected and that having a boyfriend or folding to peer pressure is not the most important aspect of their lives. Education, education.

I think it must start MUCH earlier than 10 and go long after our girls are 16, AB...
